Background
Carol is a trained para-counsellor with a Master of Education (Developmental Psychology), and has experience in supporting individuals through challenges, such as anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, life transitions and relationship concerns.
She draws from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Biopsychosocial-Spiritual (BPSS) model, adapting these methods to fit the unique needs and goals of each person.
With over 20 years of experience in previous corporate and public sector roles across Australia, Japan, the USA, Switzerland and Singapore, Carol relates easily to clients from diverse backgrounds. She is committed to ensuring that her clients feel heard and understood, fostering a non-judgmental space where clients feel supported as they navigate their journeys through life. Maintaining warmth, empathy and mutual respect are at the core of Carol's therapeutic practice.
Personally, Carol enjoys quiet nature walks with her husband, sharing meals with friends and family and spending time with her two lovely nephews and adorable dog. Volunteering is an important part of her life and a warm cup of cappuccino never fails to brightens her day.
