Background
Originally from Barcelona, Spain, Anna has called Singapore home for almost 14 years. With a professional background in education, her experience working with children, young people and families across diverse cultural backgrounds has shaped her interest in emotional wellbeing and development. Anna holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and is currently completing her Master of Counselling at Monash University. Her background in education and psychology brings a developmental and holistic perspective to her counselling practice, with a particular interest in supporting children, adolescents, parents and families, as well as adults navigating life transitions, relationships, identity, grief, stress and emotional challenges.
As a counsellor in training, Anna aims to create a warm, non-judgemental and collaborative space where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences at their own pace. Having built her own life away from her country of origin, she also brings a personal understanding of living between cultures, adapting to change and finding a sense of belonging. Outside of her professional life, Anna is a mother of two young children and enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, discovering new restaurants, dancing, and getting lost in a good book or movie.
